History
Purchased by the late Tom Frank (husband of Bev Kidney), May 16, 2013 from a member of the Saskatoon 567 Club. Currently owned by Bev Kidney.
Key features and new parts
- 235 cubic inch inline blue flame 6 cylinder engine (note Tom found a newer engine of the exact same type with only 5400 miles on it, therefore he replaced the original engine with this one in August, 2014). Odometer reading on the car at that time was 48,959. Current odometer reading as of May 2, 2022 is 51,991 miles, therefore current engine only has 5400 plus 3032 = 8432 miles on it.
- Power glide 2 speed automatic transmission
- Brakes are power assist
- Wheels are original steel 14 inch with full wheel discs
- Original body, exterior professionally painted around 2012
- Upholstery was completely restored in May 2017 (professionally done by Peter Satcher, well known upholsterer with specialty in antique vehicles). All new seats, door panels (plus chrome trim), headliner, carpet, arm rests, door lock knobs, rear bumper decal kit, sunvisor, etc.
- New fuel gauge
- New radiator April, 2015
- New Battery, summer 2014
